KARACHI: Leaders of Pakistan Hindu Seva Welfare Trust (PHSWT) and Sindhi Hindu Youth Wing have demanded proper implementation of five percent government jobs quota for minorities and resolving their other issues.

Addressing a press conference at Karachi Press Club, President PHSWT Sandesh Dhanja said there were several issues of minorities and particularly the issue of abduction and forced conversion and marriages in the name of ‘love marriages’. He said some cases of attacks on temples were reported in Thatta, Tando Mohammad Khan and Mirpurkhas but the culprits are yet to be arrested.

Another leader Vishal Anand said in some areas Hindu girls are being kidnapped and married forcibly after their conversion.

Yet another leader Raja Sundarmal said Hindus feel them threatened and are compelled to migrate to other countries.

They appealed PM Mian Mohamamd Nawaz Sharif, CM Sindh and other authorities to pay attention on their issues and resolve them urgently.
