’Dharna day’ begins in Islamabad

Islamabad: Pakistan Tehreek Insaf and Pakistan Awami Tehreek have finalized their Dharnas (sit-ins) in Islamabad. PTI leader Imran Khan is scheduled start his sit-in at Aabpara on 3:00pm and Pakistan Awami Tehreek leader Allama Tahirul Qadri would start give his ‘charter of demands’ at 4:00 today at Khayaban-e-Suharwardy.

A large number of supporters of both leaders are present at the venues of their Dharnas. Administration and police have already taken foolproof steps for the security of the protestors. However, Met Office has predicted strong winds and rains in evening which may cause problems to the protestors.
