Ex-MNA of PPP Joins Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf

Ahmedpur-East: Ex MNA of PPP Arif Aziz Sheikh joined Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf.

Addressing a press conference at the residence of former deputy speaker Punjab Assembly Sahibzada Usman Abbasi, Arif Aziz Sheikh confirmed that he along with Usman Abbasi had met with Central Vice Chairman Makhdoom Shah Mehmood Qureshi in Multan and joined the party.

Arif Aziz lashed on PPP leadership and alleged that they have set aside their manifesto .He expressed his confidence in the leadership of PTI Chairman Imran Khan and announced to back the candidatures of PTI candidates in local bodies polls.

Former Deputy Speaker Punjab Assembly Sahibzada Mohammad Usman Abbasi told newsmen that as per assurance of PTI leader Shah Mehmood Qureshi , Arif Aziz Sheikh and his son Ex- PPP MPA Gazain Abbasi will be awarded PTI tickets for NA-183 and PP-268 Ahmedpur-East, respectively, in next general elections.

It is pertinent to mention that before May 2013, general elections Sahibzada Mohammad Usman Abbasi had invited PTI Chairman Imran Khan at his Dera Nawab Sahib residence and Joined PTI, but his two sons Gazain Abbasi, Shahzain Abbasi and younger brother contested independently for one national assembly and two provincial assembly seats and faced defeat at the hands of PML(N) and PML(QA) candidates.

Now Usman Abbasi and his sons rejoined PTI and now fielding PTI candidates on PTI tickets.
