Five killed in different mishaps

KARACHI: Five people were killed and one other injured in different mishaps in the city on Sunday. Salman, 22, son of Jumma, was killed when his vehicle crashed with other vehicle on Karsaz road near Shahrah-e-Faisal. The body was shifted to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre (JPMC) for medico-legal formalities.

In another incident, Samina, 7, daughter of Mushtaq, resident of Ittihad town, was killed after falling into a water tank at her home. The body was shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for medico-legal formalities.

Separately, Ayan, 14, son of Muhammad Rahim, was killed when his motorcycle slipped on main road in Dau Darya located near Seaview. The body was shifted to JPMC for an autopsy.

Meanwhile, Aziz, 22, son of Rehman, was killed and Abid, son of Ghulam, injured when a speedy vehicle hit their motorcycle at Native Jetty bridge. The body and injured were shifted to JPMC for an autopsy and treatment.
