Four die in Karachi mishaps

KARACHI: Four people, including a woman, were killed in separate incidents in the metropolis on Monday.

Tajuddin, aged 48, son of Alauddin, resident of Chamra Chowrangi, was gunned down by unknown armed men near Chamra Chowrangi, Korangi area. The body was shifted to Jinnah Post Graduate Medical centre for medico-legal facilities.

The body of an unknown woman, aged 20, was recovered from Block 20, Ancholi area. According to rescue sources, the body bore severe torture marks and was shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for an autopsy.

Two more people were gunned down in Kati Pahari area. The rescue sources told PPI that Jaffer, 40, and Kashif, 45, were shot dead by unknown armed men in Kati Pahari area. The bodies were shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for autopsy.

Separately, the body of newborn was recovered from garbage dump near Rethi Para, Essa Nagri area.
