Four fall prey to Karachi violence

KARACHI: Four persons were killed in different violence incidents here on Monday.

A man, Saqib, 28, son of Atta-ur-Reham, was gunned down by unidentified armed men near Matke wali Pulia in Korangi No. 2. The body was brought to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Center for an autopsy.

In another incident, the three-day old body of unknown woman, aged around 30, was found from village Mohammad Ali, in Surjani Town, Gulshan-e-Noor. It was shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital (ASH) for medico-legal formalities.

Yet in another incident, a man, Zohair, 42, son of Abdul Sattar, was gunned down by unknown armed men near Altaf Naqar area of Orangi Town. The body was shifted to ASH for an autopsy. The motive behind killing could not be ascertained yet.

Separately, a youth, Shoaib, 25, was gunned down by unknown armed men near Manghopir, Northern Bypass. The body was shifted to ASH for medico-legal formalities. The motive behind killing could not be ascertained yet.
