Four killed in city mishaps

KARACHI: Four persons were killed in different incidents in metropolis on Wednesday.

A man, Jaithalal, 65, son of Nirayen, died after falling from a lift near New Challi Road in Boulton Market. The body was shifted to Civil Hospital Karachi (CHK) for an autopsy.

A youth, Fatah Mohammad, 22, was killed after falling from rooftop of his house near Golimar in Site town. The body was shifted to CHK for an autopsy.

A youth, Talha, 25, son of Ali, was killed and a 12-year-old boy, Nadim, son of Imran, injured when a speeding vehicle hit them while riding a bike in New town roundabout. The body and injured were shifted to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre (JMPC) for medico-legal formalities and treatment, respectively.

According to rescue sources, a 30-year-old man, Faisal, son of Shaukat, a resident of Surjani Town, committed suicide at his house near KDA roundabout in Surjani town. The body was shifted to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre for an autopsy.
