Four killed, two injured in different mishaps

KARACHI: Four people were killed and two others injured in different mishaps in the city here on Sunday.

A 50-year-old man, Mashood, son of Badshah Khan, drowned in a well at Bilal Colony in Korangi. The body was recovered and shifted to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre (JPMC) for medico-legal formalities.

Tahir Shakeel, 24, son of Muhammad Shakeel, was killed when a speeding vehicle hit him near Wireless Gate in Shamsi Society, Malir. The body was shifted to JPMC for an autopsy.

Ilyas Khan, 62, son of Sher Javed, was injured when he fell down from floor of his house at Mujahid Colony in Orangi Town No-14. The injured was shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.

Separately, a 35-year-old man, Aamir, was electrocuted while working in a shop near Petrol Pump in Shershah. The body was shifted to CHK.

Faisal Raza, 24, son of Syed Raza, was injured when a vehicle hit him near Water Pump Chowrangi. He was rushed to ASH for treatment.

Meanwhile, Rehnawaz, 30, son of Sabir, was injured when a speeding vehicle ran over him on Northern Bypass. The injured was shifted to ASH for treatment.
