Four new ambulances inducted in Al-Khidmat fleet

KARACHI: Four new and equipped ambulances have been inducted in the ambulance fleet of Al-Khidmat Foundation Pakistan.

According to the details, President Al-Khidmat Foundation Pakistan Dr Hafeez-ur-Rehman with the auspices of “ICNA Relief Canada” handed over the keys of ambulances to the office–bearers of Sindh and Balochistan.

In a statement issued here on Tuesday, three ambulances were handed over to Asim Ali, office-bearer of Al-Khidmat, Balochistan and one ambulance was handed over to Naseer Ansari, office-bearer of District Tharparkar, Sindh.

Assistant Secretary General Engineer Abdul Aziz and Naib Ameer JI Karachi Rashid Qureshi were also present on the occasion.

Talking to media, Dr Hafeez-ur-Rehman briefed about the activities of Al-Khidmat Foundation and said that the ambulances are being used to shift the patients to the hospitals in any untoward incident.

“Al-Khidmat is looking after the ailing people and IDPs within its limited resources, adding that it is being struggled hard to reach at those destinations where public facilities are not being reached properly,” he added.

Rehman further said that the Al-Khidmat is the voice of the less privileged and deprived people who were facing difficulties and problems in far flung areas.
