FPCCI asks world community to take notice of massacre in Burma

ISLAMABAD: Patron In Chief of United Business Group S.M Munir, Group Chairman Iftikhar Ali Malik, President of Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI) and others stated that Political leadership and armed forces effectively responded to the aggressive statements of Indian leadership and proved that country’s leadership is no same page.

In a statement issued here on Thursday, they made it clear that business community completely supports the political leadership and armed forces of the country and this support would continue in trying circumstances.

They said that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, Army chief Gen Raheel Sharif, Parliament, federal ministers and all the political parties timely responded to the statement of Indian leadership that proved that political and military leadership is on same page. Pakistan is capable to defend its dignity and to retaliateany violence, they added.

They demanded from United Nations and human rights organizations to take strict notice of Indian statements against Pakistan as it is against the charter of United Nationsresolutios. Pakistan itself is a peaceful and peace loving country however, in case of any aggressiveness it will keep no stone untouched.

Business community said armed forces of the country are capable to deter any aggressiveness and to effectively respond to it. They condemned insane and inhuman attitude against Muslims of Burma and questioned that why human rights organizations are mum over it. So far, no one has taken notice of massacre in Burma which is very unfortunate.

They appealed to the government to take this issues at international level and in this regard business community would provide every possible to it. They reiterated their commitment to support Pakistan Army and political leadership of the country.
