FPCCI team to meet politician to discuss economic damages

ISLAMABAD: Acting-President of the Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI) Shaukat Ahmed on Wednesday said that FPCCI has prepared a plan to meet the political leaders and give them economic solutions of the current situation.

He said the current fragile business environment was impeding investment decision by the foreign investors to invest in Pakistan. He said business community of Pakistan was seriously analyzing the repercussion of current law and order situation including sit-in in Islamabad.

He said that drastic cling in the investment will ultimately stop commercial activities in the country which will create joblessness and law and order deterioration.

He said Pakistan is severely facing growing poverty due to lack of investable funds and transformation of policies. He said the present government has formulated various polices but unfortunately, due to political uncertainty, most of them were not yet implemented.
