Future engineers present 43 projects

KARACHI: At least 43 projects of students of Electrical, Mechanical and Chemical Engineering departments were presented in Inter-Sindh Project and Poster Competition 2015 held at NED University of Engineering and Technology’s (NEDUET) premises.

The competition was organized by NEDUET’ Department of Chemical Engineering in collaboration with Society of Chemical Engineers on Tuesday. It was participated by Sindh’s engineering universities including Mehran University of Engineering and Technology, Jamshoro; Quaid-e-Awam University of Engineering and Technology, Nawabshah; Sir Syed University of Engineering and Technology, University of Karachi’s Chemical Department, Dawood College of Engineering and Technology and NEDUET.

The competition was aimed at to enhance the students’ interaction with corporate sector. During the program a large number of members from corporate sector was invited to assess projects’ technical evaluation, practical feasibility and economical stability.

At the competition, at least 15 projects of Chemical Engineering, 20 projects of Chemical Engineering and 8 projects of Mechanical Engineering were presented.
