German investors keen to invest in Sindh

KARACHI: Governor Sindh Dr Ishratul Ibad Khan said on Wednesday that for the achievement of economic, commercial and social targets, there was dire need of international investment, joint projects and access to regional market.

“Geographically Pakistani markets are excellent in price and in quality, but there is need that international investors take full advantage from it,” he said while talking to German Federal Foreign State Secretary Dr Markus Edere. Consul General of Germany Tilo Klinner was also present.

Dr Ibad said Sindh, especially Karachi, was ideal region for German investors from where worldwide investors earn profit more than their expectations. “Pakistan and German combined investment is in interest of region and joint partnership,” he said.

He said there were lots of opportunities for investment in energy, infrastructure and drainage systems. The government has ensured foolproof security arrangements for providing congenial atmosphere to German investors. “Whole the city is monitored through surveillance cameras round the clock as it could help take immediate action against unpleasant incident.”

He said German investors were eager to invest in different sectors.
