Girl among three killed in city mishaps

KARACHI: Three people, including a minor boy and a girl, were killed in different mishaps in the city on Wednesday.

A minor girl, Tehmina Khatoon, 5, daughter of Hussain, was killed when a speeding vehicle ran over her at Zia Morr near D-1 bus stop in SITE area. The body was shifted to Civil Hospital Karachi for medico-legal formalities.

In another incident, a minor boy, Hasnain, 3, son of Aziz Ahmed, fell and drowned in Paposh drain in Banaras. The body was recovered and shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for an autopsy.

In a road accident on Tariq Road near Red Apple Restaurant, unknown person, age 28, died when a speeding car hit him. The body was shifted to JPMC for medico-formalities.
