Governance: Students in Sindh schools have to buy answer copies from pocket money

Larkana: Students in different schools of Larkana district have to brought their own answer copies when they have to appear in exam, despite tall claims of the Sindh Education Minister & Secretary that strict action will be taken against all those Principals and Head Masters who fail to supply answer copies to the students appearing in the annual examinations .

About 0.3million students are appearing in annual examinations of f classes V to VIII which started Monday.

In many schools even question papers were also supplied in short quantity due to which students faced great difficulties.

Even in schools of Garhi Khuda Bux, students were denied answer copies and they had to bring their own copies. At village Sabu Kertio, over 100 students are enrolled but they were just given 48 question papers.

However, the Government Primary School No: I in Naundero gave answer copies to its students which were procured out of SMC funds, claimed Educational Supervisor Abdul Rahman Supro but many other schools completely ignored the education department order to supply copies causing extra burden over the poor parents.

Ironically, no other person but the education department Minister & Secretary, Fazalullah Pechuho, had said that answer copies will be supplied to students free of.

On Monday, the Fifth & Sixth class students appeared in Islamiyat paper, students of class VII appeared in English paper and VIIIth class students gave Mathematics paper in the morning shift.

Media team visited many schools in Naundero to see whether students are given copies or not where they were told by the students that they have procured their own answer copies out of their pocket money.
