Governor KP visit injured security personnel in CMH?

Peshawar: Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Sardar Mahtab Ahmad Khan has greatly commended the sacrifices of the Pak Army jawans, Levies personnel and other law enforcing agencies as well as the tribal people in the successful operations Zarb-Azb and Khyber-II against terrorists especially mentioning the efforts of the Bomb Disposal Squad (BDU) of Bajaur Levies and stated that due to their sacrifices all the evil designs of the terrorists were foiled.

This he said on Tuesday during his visit to the Central Military Hospital (CMH), Peshawar where he enquired about the health of the personnel of the security forces who were injured during military operation against terrorists in different areas of the agency. The additional chief secretary FATA Mohammad Aslam Kamboh and other civil and military officers accompanied the governor.

The governor met the injured one by one and asked the hospital administration about the nature of their injuries and medical cover being provided to them. He directed the CMH authorities to utilize all means to save precious lives of the injured personnel.

The governor expressed the hope that the untiring efforts and sacrifices of the security forces would bear fruit and soon peace would be prevailed in the country in general and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and FATA in particular.

The governor handed over donation of Rs. 1,00,000/- each to the multiple injured and Rs. 50,000/- each to the personnel suffering from minor injuries. He also presented bouquets to the injured.

The governor also met family members of the injured jawans and lauded the valour and gallantry of their relatives in the war against terrorism. He assured the family members of the injured that all possible means would be used to provide them better medical cover in the hospital. He also prayed for the early recovery of the injured levies personnel.
