Governor opens Fly Dubai Airline

QUETTA: Commencement of flights for Dubai from Quetta would not only provide air travel facilities to the people of the country and Balochistan but it would also pave way for promotion of trade and tourism in the province.

This was stated by Balochistan Governor Mohammad Khan Achakzai while inaugurating Fly-Dubai Airline that left for Dubai from here Thursday. This would be thrice a week service.

MPA Ms Rahila Durrani, Country Manager Fly Dubai Airline Mirza Atif Beg, Airport Manager Pakistan Fly Dubai Azeem Zafar Khan and Manager Quetta Airport Mohammad Qasim Khilji were also present.

Governor said owing to scientific inventions and revelations world has squeezed and air travel facility is an important step to lessen distances among countries. He said Balochistan is rich in fresh fruits and vegetables. Commencement of international flights from Quetta would give boost to trade and people would have direct access to Arab Countries and air travellers would see a remarkable change in travelling facilities.

He also expressed the hope that day is not far away from Quetta would become hub of international trade and tourism.

Governor also expressed good wishes for the Airline.
