Govt’s dialogue committee fully empowered: Rasheed

Islamabad: Minister for Information and Broadcasting Pervaiz Rasheed has said that the dialogue process with the TTP is smoothly moving forward and the government committee is fully authorized in this regard.

Talking to media in Islamabad today he said that no worthwhile efforts were made during the last five years to restore peace in the country.

To a question, the Information Minister said the government wants to establish good relations with all the neighbours. He said that we do not want to interfere in the internal matters of any country and no country will be allowed to interfere in Pakistan’s internal affairs.

The Information Minister clarified that neither any country has requested nor Pakistani troops are being sent to any country. Answering a question, Pervaiz Rashid said that the government has started a number of projects for the welfare of the people. He said the Rawalpindi-Islamabad Metro bus service will lessen the difficulties of the commuters.
