Gutted shops put huge financial loss to owners

Islamabad: Several shops of I-10 Markaz Islamabad were gutted in the early hours of Tuesday however no loss of life was occurred in the incident. However gutted shops put huge financial loss to the owners.

Sources said the fire broke out from an electric short-circuit at the market about 5:35am on Tuesday. Raging fire engulfed the nearby shops and completed gutted the Al- Safa Baker & Sweets shop.

While talking to this news agency President Anjuma Tajran Islamabad and Traders Forum Muhammad Kashif Chaudhry expressed grave concern over the incident and held fire-bridge responsible for the lost of property.

Kashif Chaudhry had to face huge loss of property and trade being the owner of Al-Safa Baker and Sweets Shop. He said that incident occurred 5:35am while the fire-bridge reached after an hour without any proper equipments.

He said that his three shops of main plaza was completed gutted. He alleged that both fire-bridge and rescues 1155 completed failed to handle the situation.

He appealed the government to take strict notice of the failure of above departments. On the other hand no one was reported injured and killed in the blaze.
