Hajj flights start from Sialkot Airport

SIALKOT: National flag carrier Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) started Hajj flights operation from Sialkot International Airport from Tuesday.

Incharge Hajj Operation Sialkot Mujeeb Akbar Shah told that the PIA will transport as many as 2244 Hajj pilgrims belonging to Sialkot region to Jeddah-Saudi Arabia through eight Hajj flights from Sialkot International Airport for Hajj obligation.

Commissioner Gujranwala Division Shamail Ahmed Khawaja, Sialkot DCO Dr. Asif Tufail, Director Hajj Operations Punjab Saeed Ahmed Malik and senior PIA officials, seen off the first Hajj flight, carrying 328 Hajj pilgrims, during a ceremony held at Sialkot International Airport here. This Hajj flights operation will continue till September 14, 2015 here.
