IGFC meets Iranian border Police Chief

QUETTA: Inspector General Frontier Corps Balochistan Major General Ejaz Shahid and Iranian border Police chief General Qasim Razai held a meeting in Iranian Capital Tehran. Two commanders reviewed in details recent incidents along Pak-Iran border.

According to details an important meeting of Pakistan Border security force officials and Iranian border security officials was held in Tehran. IG FC Balochistan major General Mohammad Ejaz Shahid and Iranian Border Police Chief General Razai were also included. Two commanders held detailed review of recent incidents along the Pak-Iran border. Exchange of confirmed information and Intelligence was also discussed. Two Commanders urged for active monitoring of Pak-Iran border and mutual cooperation.

IG FC Major General Ejaz Shahid said cooperation of two forces for sustainable peace in the region is inevitable. He said Pakistan strongly condemns all sorts of terrorism, armed aggression and extremism and desires better relations with neighbouring countries. There is need security forces of two countries should take concrete measures for better monitoring of Pak-Iran border under joint mechanism.
