KARACHI: The Supreme Court of Pakistan has taken a strict view of the frequent transfers and postings of SHOs in Karachi during the proceedings of Karachi law and order case.

Likewise, the Central Police Office has also noticed and observed that the SHOs are being removed on issue of trivial nature without following the departmental proceedings. The spokesman said that IGP Sindh has directed, in black and white, the Additional IGP of Karachi that frequent transfers and postings should be avoided and transfer and removal of any SHO should be substantiated through a proper and valid justification. “In case of non-compliance, the premature/unjustified transfer of SHO will be cancelled ab initio”, the spokesman added.
