IGP orders strict security across Sindh

KARACHI: Inspector General of Police (IGP) Sindh Ghulam Haider Jamali on Tuesday instructed the police officers to take strict measures for effective security at provincial level in view of Peshawar explosion and remain in contact with law enforcement agencies.

He said concrete steps should be taken for the security of officials’ properties, sensitive installations, mosques, imambargahs, schools, colleges, universities and other public places.

Haider instructed officials to increase intelligence for successful targeted operation and ensure proper patrolling and picketing.
