Peshawar: Chairman PTI Imran Khan on Saturday condemned the fascism unleashed by the Punjab government against PAT workers in Lahore. Khan said it was absolutely unacceptable of the Punjab government to arrest Dr Qadri when they themselves are instigating violence by their repressive undemocratic actions.

He said the government’s inability to tolerate dissent and allow the democratic right of people to protest peacefully has made Lahore the provincial capital descend into a state of chaos and increasing anarchy.

Moreover ordinary people’s lives have been totally disrupted by the Punjab government’s attempts to close major roads in Lahore and its outskirts.

Khan warned that if the Punjab government continued in its fascist policy of preventing PAT from exercising its democratic right of protest PTI may be compelled on Sunday in its Core Committee meeting to examine the options before it to stop the Punjab Government’s repression of Dr Qadri and the PAT workers.
