Inayatullah meets Chief PESCO, asks for minimizing loadshedding

Peshawar: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Senior Minister for Local Government & Rural Development Inayatullah Khan called on Chief PESCO Fazil Hasan at WAPDA House Peshawar on Monday and apprised him of the concerns of the people in respect of unscheduled and prolongs loadshedding in Malakand Division especially in Dir District.

Inayatullah made it clear to PESCO Chief that like Hazara Division, the consumers in Malakand Division also regularly pay electricity bills and no cases of power theft are reported there but loadshedding of long duration and voltage fluctuations have become routine matter that must be checked properly, he added.

The Senior Minister asked for drastic decrease in loadshedding in Malakand Division. He also directed to complete all ongoing electricity distribution schemes in-time as well as expediting work on Chakdara Grid Station.

PESCO Chief assured him that loadshedding in Malakand would be reduced to minimal level. Similarly, he assured for expediting work on Chakdara Grid Station and all other power supply schemes in the area to provide prompt relief to the consumers.
