Indigenous On-campus Training Workshop held

KARACHI: The seventh Indigenous On-campus Training (IOT) Workshop on “Leadership & Management Skills,” organized by Professional Development Centre (PDC), Shah Abdul Latif University, Khairpur in collaboration with Higher Education Commission, Islamabad concluded here on Saturday.

Prof. Dr. Mohammad Yousuf Khushk, Dean, Faculty of Social Sciences & Arts presided over the concluding session. Syed Mohammad Javed Sadiq, Former, Cultural Advisor, US Consulate, Karachi was the chief guest. Mohammad Shahid, eepresentative of Higher Education Commission, Islamabad was the guest of honor.

On the occasion, Dr. Yousuf Khushk said that training plays a vital role to enhance the skills of employees of any organization. This training will increase the performance of teaching and non-teaching staff of the University.

Javed Sadiq said that teachers are the leaders which have to come forward to own and run this university. He lauded the efforts of SALU in this regard.

Mohammad Shahid, HEC representative, said the management and faculty are equally important in the university. They should help and support each other to achieve the targeted objectives of the university.

Prof. Dr. Ghulam Ali Mallah, focal person, HRM, Nisar Ahmed Siddiqui, Director, Sukkur-IBA and others spoke.
