LAHORE: The position of the river inflows and outflows at Tarbela, Mangla and Chashma along with the reservoirs levels and the barrages today is as under:
Rivers: Indus at Tarbela: Inflows 99600 cusecs and Outflows 135000 cusecs, Kabul at Nowshera: Inflows 19600 cusecs and Outflows 19600 cusecs, Jhelum at Mangla: Inflows 18500 cusecs and Outflows 40000 cusecs, Chenab at Marala: Inflows 37200 cusecs and Outflows 8000 cusecs.
Barrages: Jinnah: Inflows 169300 cusecs and Outflows 161800 cusecs, Chashma: Inflows 159400 cusecs and Outflows 170000 cusecs, Taunsa: Inflows 150300 cusecs and Outflows 126600 cusecs, Panjnad: Inflows 22800 cusecs and Outflows 7100 cusecs, Guddu: Inflows 134400 cusecs and Outflows 107500 cusecs, Sukkur: Inflows 108200 cusecs and Outflows 52500 cusecs, Kotri: Inflows 131800 cusecs and Outflows 97400 cusecs.
Tarbela: Minimum operating level 1380 feet, present level 1546.30 feet, maximum conservation level 1550 feet, live storage today 6.222 million acre feet (MAF). Mangla: Minimum operating level 1040 feet, present level 1239.25 feet, maximum conservation level 1242 feet, live storage today 7.185 MAF.
Chashma: Minimum operating level 637 feet, present level 644.70 feet, maximum conservation level 649 feet, live storage today 0.132 MAF. The inflows and outflows of River Indus at Tarbela and Chashma, River Kabul at Nowshera and River Jhelum at Mangla have been reflected as mean flows of 24 hours, whereas the other flows have been gauged at 6.00 a.m.
