ISDS starts cryo-therapy service

KARACHI: Institute of Skin Diseases Sindh (ISDS) administration has started the cryo-therapy service for patients suffering from virus and warts problems. Additional Director General, Institute of Skin Diseases Sindh (ISDS), Dr Manzoor H Memon, while talking to media, said ISDS had started cryo-therapy services for patients suffering from warts and virus problems. He said steps had been taken to provide modern medical facilities to the visiting patients and hoped that health delivery system would be improved in ISDS.

He said private hospital charge Rs 1500 for cryo-therapy service facilities but patients could avail these facilities free of cost in institution. He said around 30 to 40 patients would be facilitated in ISDS on daily basis. He informed that administration had also inducted other medical equipment worth of 0.5 million on self help basis for facilitating patients. He said out of order laser machine would be repaired soon.

He said ISDS is largest skincare hospital of Sindh province where significant number of patients with skin related problems come for treatment on daily basis. He informed that administration had also decided to equip institutions with latest diagnostic equipment.
