ISPR: Special Eid package dispatches for IDPs

Islamabad: A special Eid Package was dispatched for the IDPs of North Waziristan Agency by Rawalpindi Corps on Monday. According to ISPR 32 trucks carrying 220 tons of ration that include flour, rice, sugar, lentils, cooking oil, dry milk and tea, were dispatched from Race Course Ground for the IDPs of North Waziristan Agency.

All this ration was voluntarily deposited by the residents of Islamabad and Rawalpindi at collection points established by Pakistan army. It is worth mentioning that it was 2nd consignment dispatched by Rawalpindi Corps for the IDPs. Total of 440 tons of ration has been dispatched by Rawalpindi Corps so far.
