QUETTA: Jamaat Islami Balochistan women have asked government of Punjab to withdraw women bill which is contrary to Islam, Constitution of Pakistan confronting international laws about women. We are ready to present best bill for security of women in the light of Quran, Sunnah, Constitution of Pakistan and international Human rights. Women bill passed by Punjab Assembly is in confrontation with Islamic civilization and breaking families which is not acceptable in any case.

This was stated by Nazima JI Balochistan women Wing former MPA Samina Saeed, Rubina Ali and Asma Qazi in a joint statement here Sunday.

They said Jamaat Islami Women would go to the court against this bill and a campaign would be launched for the awareness of masses. Articles 8 to 28 of constitution of Pakistan are comprehensive charter to stop excesses and violence against women and by implementing them women can be ensured best status in society. But rulers instead of following them start new drama owing to their Western slavery mentality. The status Islam has ensured for women is not in other societies and religions. It has made woman cradle of love and respect as mother, sister and daughter. Islam has laid foundation of a family by describing wife and husband associates of each other. Pakistani woman needs security but the way Western media was portraying dirty culture of ours is because of prejudice and enmity with Islam.

They said in fact central role and respect woman enjoys in Muslim society particularly Pakistani society such a concept does not exist in Europe and West. They have pushed women out of their homes and giving so called independence and thrown them into disrespect. They said if Parliament fulfils its constitutional role unrest prevalent in society can end.
