JSMU to host 14th Int’l Conference of Statistical Sciences

KARACHI: Jinnah Sindh Medical University (JSMU) in collaboration with Islamic Countries Society of Statistical Sciences (ISOSS) is organizing 14th International Conference of Statistical Sciences from 14th to 16th March 2014 at JSMU, Karachi.

This Conference will not only provide young researchers an opportunity to share their research but also provide a chance to develop a sense of community for benefiting from research experiences and expertise of each others.

These views were expressed by Prof Zaman Shaikh of Sir Syed Medical College, Prof Nazeer Khan and Dr Sheraz Shaikh of JSMU at a press briefing held at JSMU.

They further said that this International Conference is being organized under the patron ship of Prof SM Tariq Rafi, Vice Chancellor, JSMU and would attended by 200 experts from all over the Pakistan.

This Conference will enhance the understanding of importance of producing quality data and its appropriate analysis to generate useful and meaningful information in all scientific disciplines with particular focus on health.

Furthermore, speakers from different countries like America, Saudi Arabia and Thailand and other will be showcasing their research work on Applied Biostatistics. The Inaugural Ceremony will be held on 14th March 2016 at JPMC. Previously ISOSS conferences have been held in Malaysia, Indonesia, Qatar, Egypt, Morocco and in Pakistan at Gujrat, D.I. Khan and the historical city Lahore, which has the privilege of being the Headquarters of ISOSS.
