JSQM stages protest rally in Larkana

Larkana: Jeay Sindh Quomi Mahaz (JSQM) staged a protest rally from Jinnah Bagh roundabout on Wednesday against statement attributed to MQM for division of Sindh.

The activists also staged sit-in in front of MQM office near Central Prison where they stayed for hours. They were chanting slogans holding large party flags and banners.

JSQM Central & district leadership and large number of activists took part in the protest rally and sit-in.

JSQM Vice Chairman, Dr. Niaz Kalani while addressing the participants said that a detailed protest programme will be announced after Muharram.

He said that Urdu and Sindhi speaking people are brothers but they will never tolerate any conspiracy to bifurcate their motherland and added that they wanted Sindh to be the land of peace & tranquility.

He said that they will stage sit-in in front of ‘90’ in Karachi after protests in Nawabshah, Hyderabad and Mirpurkhas.

He said after Muharram the a central meeting will be held wherein further line of action will be chalked out.

Kalani further said that the murder case of Shaheed Maqsood Qureshi and Salman Wadho has been raised by JSQM on international level and six American Congressmen have written to the Pakistan Prime Minister in this regard.

Sagar Hanif Burdi, Amjad Mahesar & Abdullah Soomro said MQM should avoid playing with the sentiments of the Sindhi population otherwise they will face the consequences.

Mumtaz Shaikh, Bashir Jatoi, Nayab Sarkash Sindhi and others also spoke.
