KARACHI: Central Deputy General Secretary of JamiatUlema-e-Islam (JUI) Mohammad Aslam Ghauri said on Thursday that the dreams of those willing to bring change of government with help of violence, sit-ins and bloodshed had shattered.

He said JUI had always struggled for supremacy of parliament, constitution and democracy. “History shows that we had fought conspiracies with determination.”

Ghauri said that in August, disabled minds and u-turn masters tried to weaken sovereignty of the country with the help of foreign agenda and involve Pakistan Army in this conspiracy but on that time, JUI performed its role in better way. JUI defended constitution of Pakistan and democracy while people saw it.

JUI leader said: “Political & religious parties, business community and civil society are not satisfied at outcome of Karachi operation as investigation agencies were out to arrest innocent people on the basis of suspicion.”

He said the personnel of investigation agencies in white dress had arrested JUI Secretary Information Allah Noor and his brother Abidullah from their houses in Pak Madina colony in Federal B Area, but no agency had disclosed their arrest yet.
