JUI leader slams govt over raids at seminaries

LARKANA: Rulers hiding their deficiencies have started carrying out surprise raids on seminaries that would not be tolerated at any cost, said Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam Larkana’s Ameer Moulana Nasir Khalid Mahmood Soomro while distributing party tickets among workers for upcoming local government’s election in Sindh, here on Saturday.

Nasir said everyone knows JUI never supported terrorism or any terrorist group, and it had always opposed it at different forums. He said seminaries had been established to spread the message of Allah. If any one uses them for their vested interest or criminal activities, they he will face the annoyance by the Almighty Allah.

He said out of 20 UCs in Larkana, his party had selected candidates at 14 UCs for contesting local government elections in the city.

He said Larkana’s people have a big role in national politics’ therefore, they will reject those politicians who had done nothing for people after being elected by them time and again.
