Karachi: Participants were brimming with excitement as the last day of the three-day long Junior Leaders’ Conference (JLC) 2014 got underway at a local hotel.

Breakfast was followed by a session, titled ‘Power of the Soul’. It was followed by the emotionally charged ‘Stories of Change’ segment, where young speakers shared their personal success stories.

Umair Jallianwala, a leading trainer and the ‘Day Champ’, provided participants with context after the ‘documentary viewing’ session. Meanwhile, “One Big Idea” encouraged participants to envision and share their thoughts resulting in some fascinating input.

A lunch simulation conducted by the JLC team and the day champ made the participants’ eating experience memorable. A project briefing and planning session followed where participants worked in teams getting started on an outline of the projects they plan to implement post-conference.

After a captivating key note speech and final words from Umair Jallianwala, the participants bade farewell to each other and to JLC’14. However, in the words of the JLC team, it was not the end but a new beginning. The sentiment was echoed by the participants as well.

“This was definitely an experience I will never forget. Each day was full of new experiences, memories and learning that really helped me develop as a person” said Sara, one of the participants at the conference.

For Alishan Charania, the JLC project manager, it was a culmination of months of hard work and dedication. “We were able to provide such a memorable experience for our participants because of my amazing colleagues who understand the value of teamwork.”
