Justice demanded for NADRA employees

KARACHI: All Pakistan Nadra Employees Union (Karachi region) has demanded the Prime Minister of Pakistan, and chief justice, to stop the management from taking adverse action against employees of National Database & Registration Authority (NADRA).

The emergent meeting of Karachi’s union strongly condemned the causes due to which central president of NADRA union Peshawar chapter, Mohammad Saleem Sherpao attempted self-immolation.

Central president of NADRA union Peshawar, Mohammad Saleem Sherpao attempted suicide on 12th September in a protest for acceptance of their demands.

President Karachi union Malik Irfan demanded of chairman NADRA to stop the management from taking coercive actions against employees so that these incidents cannot happen in the future. He warned that NADRA employees will take to streets from Karachi to Khyber if these actions remain continue.

General Secretary of the union, Salman Zuberi said that they will not let employees alone. He demanded the government to take notice of the negative attitude of the management.

The meeting was presided by Malik Irfan, General Secretary Salman Zuberi, vice president Syed Nauman Anwar, Afsar Jafferi and Irfan Ahmed Khan were also present on the occasion.
