Kasumbi assumes charge as Acting President KCCI

KARACHI: Mohammad Ibrahim Kasumbi has assumed charge as Acting President of the Karachi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI) during the absence of President KCCI, Iftikhar Ahmed Vohra who has proceeded to China on an official tour to attend five-day-long South-Asia Expo in Kunming city, Capital of South West Yunnan province, China.

It is pertinent to mention here that KCCI had organized a 20-member trade delegation for participation in South-Asia Expo in Kunming. During his visit to China, Vohra is accompanied by Director KCCI Pavilion and Chairman Fairs & Exhibitions Sub- Committee Naveed Farooki and other KCCI members who will be showcasing textile, carpet, garments, home textile, auto- electrical parts, agricultural commodities, cosmetics, IT services etc.

The event will provide a great opportunity to Pakistani exporters to showcase their products and establish trade linkages with China and countries in South Asia and South-East Asia to pave the way for greater cooperation in trade and investment.
