KCDR TO TRAIN 21 CIVIL JUDGES IN THE ART OF MEDIATION

ISLAMABAD: Karachi Centre for Dispute Resolution (KCDR), in collaboration with Federal Judicial Academy (FJA), will train 21 civil judges from all provinces of Pakistan. The training will be conducted with the financial assistance of Government of New Zealand .

KCDR Head of Mediation Training, Ebrahim Saifuddin will lead the team of trainers to Islamabad where the training will take place.

Advocate Afnan Siddiqui and Barrister Vishal Shamsi are part of the team which will train the civil judges in the art of mediation.

Recently, the law ministry has drafted a legislation for the implementation of mediation as an alternate form of dispute resolution.
