KP CM condemns Rawalpindi terror incident

Peshawar: KP Chief Minister Pervez Khattak has strongly condemned the blast near Imam Bargah in Chitian Hattian area of Rawalpindi during Mehfil-e-Milad. He expressed heartfelt grief on loss of precious human lives in this tragic terror bid.

In a condolence message he said terrorism has become a menace and we are in a state of war. He said the entire nation is united against terrorism while national policy with consensus is being chalked out to take drastic steps for elimination of terrorism and extremism as well as securing the geographical and ideological borders of the country.

He said that killing people in cold blood at a sacred place of worship during the holy month of Rabi-ul-Awal is the extreme level of insanity and insulting the humanity.

Pervaiz Khattak prayed for eternal peace of the martyred and early recovery of the injured of this incident. He also expressed deep sympathies with the affected families on behalf of the govt and people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
