KP: (KP govt plans to spend over Rs 30b to improve law and order)

ISLAMABAD: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) government will spend over Rs 30-billion on a total of 57 projects to improve law and order situation in the province.

According to a report quoting senior officials, new police stations and police check-posts are being set up to keep strict vigil on anti-state elements.

The government has planned to construct new police lines offering facilities for capacity building of the force. A number of steps are being taken for improving condition of jails in the province.
