KP: (Relief operation in full swing in quake-hit areas: KP Govt)

ISLAMABAD: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) government has expedited relief operation in the earthquake affected areas. Addressing a news conference in Peshawar on Tuesday, Special Assistant to the Chief Minister Mushtaq Ahmad Ghani said besides PDMA Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pak Army, PDMA Punjab, SDMA Kashmir and NDMA are engaged in relief activities.

He said three hundred thousand rupees would be provided to the legal heirs of those killed in the earthquake and one hundred thousand rupees to the injured persons. He said owners of the houses damaged will also be compensated.
