Liquid foreign reserves reach $17,448.5 million

KARACHI: State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) on Thursday announced that the total liquid foreign reserves held by the country stood at US$17,448.5 million on 12 June 2015

The break-up of the foreign reserves position is as under: Foreign reserves held by the SBP US$12,284.3 million; net foreign reserves held by banks US$5,164.2 million; and total liquid foreign reserves US$17,448.5 million.

During the week ending 12 June 2015, SBP’s Liquid FX Reserves decreased by US$29 million to US$12,284 million, compared to US$12,313 million in the previous week.
