LARKANA: The patients at Chandka Medical College Hospital (CMCH) faced trouble due to load shedding on Friday. All the diagnostic facilities and operation theatres remained suspended for two hours.

Both diesel generators at the hospital of the Civil Hospital block are out of order. The power outage has been enforced in the hospital from 9.45 am to 11.45 am that also affected official work.

One 300 KV diesel generator is faulty since two years, while other having 530 KV capacity also went out of order five days back. CMCH had made repeated requests to SEPCO to link its all five blocks with single feeder or provide express feeder to ensure uninterrupted electricity, but there is no response yet. Chief RMO Dr Habib Soomro said shedding is being carried out daily.
