Losers hold demo against rigging

KARACHI: A protest demo was held against alleged rigging in UC-44, Bhutta Village in Keamari on Wednesday, by Keamari Ittehad Panel (KIP) outside of Karachi Press Club on Wednesday.

Dozens of protestors carrying placards chanted slogans against PTI winning candidate and the returning officer.

The protest leaders said when firs the result was announced their candidate for chairman, Mohammad Ashraf, and vice chairman Abdul Rahim won with 3312 votes and PTI men were runners up with 2773 votes. They alleged that later returning officers changed the results and announced victory of PTI candidate with 3675 votes.

They demanded from the DC West, RO, DRO and Election Commission that recounted may be conducted and justice doled out to them.
