Major among two killed in Karachi violence

KARACHI: A major among two people were shot dead and one other injured in different violence incidents in the city on Sunday.

Major Aamir Azhar, 45, son of Mohammad Ali, was gunned down by unknown armed men at Sakhi Hassan Chowrangi. The body was shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital (ASH) for medico-legal formalities.

In another firing incident, Maulana Mohammad Faisal, 35, son of Mohammad Ashraf, was shot dead by unknown assailants near Pakistan Masjid in Ranchhore Lane area. The body was shifted to Civil Hospital Karachi for an autopsy.

In yet another incident, Imran Maseeh, 21, son of Yousuf Maseeh, was injured in firing by unknown persons near Mianwali Colony. The injured was shifted to ASH for treatment.
