Make Pakistan Islamic welfare state, demands JI

KARACHI: Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) has reiterated its demand to make Pakistan a true Islamic welfare state and give due rights to its poor masses.

JI Karachi chapter amir Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman, addressing ‘Mehfil-e-Quran-o-Sunnah’, organized by JI Malir Zone said Pakistan badly needs rule of law and end to exploitation of poor people. He said his party will continue its struggle to make Pakistan a Islamic welfare state.

He said that the Muslims Ummah is awakened now and determined to thwart the evil designs against it. He said the Islamic revolution is inevitable in the country. He asked the cadres to continue their struggle for an Islamic and progressive Pakistan with zest. He stressed the need to learn a lesson from our history, adding that the rulers are working on a western agenda.

Mufti Sanaullah said that Allah, the Almighty will forgive the human beings, if they seek His mercy and repent for their sins.

Ex-MPA Yunus Barai, JI Ameer District East, said that Jamaat-e-Islami has a history to gather people at one platform. He said the key to success is to follow the Islamic teachings.

A large number people including women and children participated in the 7-day program.
