Malala of Sindh departs for US

KARACHI: A handicapped Kolhi peasant girl, who lit the lamp of education in her village for peasants’ children in Umerkot, on Tusesday departed for the US from Karachi airport for participating in events on education and social issues.

Before her departing, she talked to Sindh’s Senior Education Minister Nisar Ahmed Khuhro on telephone who wished all the best for her visit and said that she would brighten the name of Sindh during her visit to the US.

According to sources, Malala of Sindh, Aaso Bai, 22, daughter of poor peasant Kolhi, will also meet with young education promnoter of Pakistan, Malala Yousufzai in the US.
