Maligning security institution intolerable: Haleem

Karachi: Pakistan Muslim League Sindh chapter President Haleem Adil Sheikh Wednesday that maligning the sacred security institutions to get political mileage is not acceptable, and unwanted silly talk of the head of a political party in this regard is intolerable.

Talking to media and delegations here at Pakistan Muslim League Sindh Secretariat after his return from four-day tour of Dubai, he said that individuals and personalities go changed with time but the institutions stay. He reminded that Pakistan army is a sacred national institution. He said those who are criticizing this institute in past may had deal some other personality, but they should keep in mind that the sacred blood of martyrs runs in the veins of Gen Raheel Sharif. He is not a person that can be affected by any political expediency. The manner in which he is defeating terrorism in the operation Zarb e Azab shows that he is a true and patriotic army commander who would never surrender to the political expediencies.

Haleem Adil Sheikh said the harsh statements of the ex-president and ex-supreme commander of Pakistan would caste negative effects to our country on the international level and it would be a grave loss of Pakistan nation. He said Pakistan has been facing law and order problem due to the interference of Indian spy agencies. He said due to a large number of civilians and security personnel have embraced martyrdom and in this background instead of paying them rich tribute this tirade and blame game is wholly unwanted. He categorically said we will not tolerate any blame on our security forces.

He said this type of politicians has done their best to harm the nation and country and if this country is still intact and safe it is due to the heroic role of the security forces. He demanded to stop this evil design to create misunderstandings between the Pakistani masses and their brave armed forces. He said the security personnel are giving sacrifices for the sake of our coming generations and this tirade against them is totally wrong and PML Sindh strongly condemns it. He advised the politicians to select their words very cautiously and avoid creating harm for the national institutions.
