Malik Amanullah Kasi expires

QUETTA: Malik Amanullah Kasi a nationalist leader and close associate of Abdul Wali Khan and Abdul Samad Khan Achakzai died in a hospital in Kabul Thursday. He was 66.

Late Amanullah Kasi fought for rights of oppressed nations all along his life. He started his political career from National Awami Party (NAP) and also remained behind the bars in notorious Hyder Tribunal. He also suffered imprisonment of 14 years.

His body would be brought to Quetta via Kandahar Friday and would be laid to rest at Chashma Achozai same afternoon.
