Man dies, 14 injured in accidents

KARACHI: A man died and 14 others, including a woman, were injured in different accidents in the metropolis on Tuesday.

A man, Abdul Ghaffar, 30, burnt to death when fire broke in a factory near Ghani Chowrangi in Site area. The body was shifted to Civil Hospital Karachi (CHK) for an autopsy.

A man, Orangzeb, 55, son of Yousaf was injured when a speeding car hit his motorcycle in the underpass of Schon Circle in Clifton. He was rushed to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Center (JPMC) for treatment.

Rasheed, 27, son of Abdul Majeed, was injured when a vehicle hit him near Rangers check point in Korangi 2 ½. He was brought to Sindh Government Hospital Korangi for treatment.

Two men, Salman and Hakim Khan, son of Hussain were injured in a road accident in Vita Chowrangi in Korangi area. They were shifted to the JPMC for treatment.

A woman, Khadija, 60, was injured when a speeding vehicle hit her in Drig Road in Malir area. She was shifted to JPMC for treatment.

In another incident, Kahan Baz, 40, son of Asal Baz, was injured when a passenger bus hit him in Korangi C area. He was brought to JPMC for treatment.

A man, Abrar, 45, son of Mohammad Ismail, was injured when his motorcycle crushed by a vehicle in Jauher Morr area of Gulistan-e-Jauher. He was taken to JPMC.

A man, Saifullah, 60, son of Gulistan was injured in a road accident in Liaquatabad 10. He was brought to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for treatment.

Six people were injured when gas cylinder blasted in Zaibunnisa Street of Saddar. They were shifted to CHK for treatment.

The injured were identified as Zeeshan, 30, Umair, 32, Omer, 25, Azhar, 20, Danyal, 27, and Hassan 20.
